Oh that is such a hard question, because we know what others tell us that we need to be doing in order to be able to gain traction and momentum in our recovery. We also feel good after the fact after we do it. So why don’t we do it?
There are a lot of layers to that question. For me personally, there were a couple of things. One I want to say, make your dailies manageable. So instead of writing in my journal for 10 minutes, I would say, do three journal prompts. Instead of jogging, I would do walk up to the stop sign and back. Make your dailies really shorter, more manageable, instead of really big, and then you feel like you do one day and you feel like you, you lose all momentum. So make them shorter, more manageable. That would be my advice.
