Podcast: Self-Harm

Bloom,

When we experience deceit and betrayal we can become flooded with difficult emotions. For some, those emotions can cause them to question life. They become stuck and unsure if they can move forward. Surrounded by shame questioning their worth and purpose. In fact, of those suffering from betrayal trauma, roughly 30% report that they’re worried about potentially hurting themselves. This speaks to deep emotional pain.

In this podcast episode, we discuss self-harm and how to navigate these difficult emotions. If you’re feeling these emotions please know you can get through this. Throughout the episode, we will discuss the resources and help that are available.

If you are feeling these emotions or having thoughts of self-harm please reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Even if you’re not in the midst of a crisis but you’re having these thoughts please reach out.
