Over the course of six weeks, you will learn:
1.
What Anxiety Is
Learn more about anxiety, its symptoms, and where it can stem from. Begin to look at what self-regulation in anxiety looks like and develop therapy tools for anxiety.
2.
How Anxiety Works
Define normal vs. disordered stress. By isolating the main stressors of anxieties, we support the pathway to breaking down your next best step to managing disordered behavior.
3.
How We Treat Anxiety
Find out more about treatment methods and next steps. After reviewing what makes your anxiety spike, you will develop the tools you need to come back to calm.
4.
How Healthy Relationships can Help Reduce Anxiety
Explore what it means to be safe in your relationships and how to build a team of supportive relationships. After understanding co-regulation, you can start to focus on self-soothing.
5.
Reduce Anxiety on Your Own
Having a supportive team is great, but being able to truly self-soothe and reduce symptoms on your own gives you the upper hand with your disorder. We give you tools and exercises to begin approaching your anxiety.
6.
Ideas for Treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Continue to develop tools together for reducing anxiety. Deepening your understanding of how your body and mind react to generalized anxiety lays a supportive foundation for more advanced and focused exercises and techniques.
7.
Facing OCD Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Facing OCD Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) has its own recommended responses based on the severity of the disorder. As a specific anxiety disorder, more nuanced challenges and exercises help your healing process.
8.
When Panic Attacks
Learn more about your body's response to extreme anxiety situations. Developing this skill set can help bring you back into a calm place. Developing the tools needed to navigate panic attacks can significantly increase the quality of life for individuals with anxiety disorders.
9.
Understanding and Responding to PTSD
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a trauma-based response to anxiety. Similar to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), specific nuances and healing tools can better support you with trauma-induced anxiety.
10.
How to Conquer Social Anxiety
Discover techniques needed to start tackling your social anxiety. By understanding why you fear social interactions and how to combat this subset of anxiety disorder, you better enable yourself to return to calmness.
